Drawing
Penguins are birds. They cannot fly through the air but they do “fly” through the water with their flippers. Penguins hatch from eggs like other birds. They are only found below the equator and like to swim in icy cold seas.
Instructions:

Step 1.
Draw a grid with two equal squares going across and four down.
Draw the head shape in the correct position on the grid. Draw the body shape and move on to step two.

Step 2.
Draw the beak on the front of the head shape. Draw in the eye and the mouth.
Draw in the neck, which flows onto the head and body shapes. Draw the puffy legs at the bottom of the body shape.

Step 3.
Draw in the flippers (or wings) around the middle of the belly.
Draw a line from the neck to the flipper. Then continue it down to the back of the leg. Draw in the feet and a little bit for the tail.

Step 4.
Outline your penguin and color it in.
