Customer Reviews:
Review #1: The Best of the Series!!! 2006-08-04 I have purchased all three of the Bead Fantasies books and the first one is the BEST of them for me. Now don't get me wrong, I have enjoyed all of them. I have simply found more projects in the first one that appeal to me and my style.
Someone else may find the Bead Fantasies II or III just as appealing for their projects because all have a variety of projects in different categories to choose and they do not repeat projects from one book to another.
Review #2: Disappointing 2006-07-03 I bought Bead Fantasies and Bead Fantasies II at the same time after reading the positive reviews; I wish I had looked at these books before buying. There are pretty motifs that I will incorporate into my beading projects but I find the small typed directions overly simplistic and the diagrams are too small. I'm glad this isn't my first beading book or I would feel totally discouraged from trying any of these projects. I won't be buying Bead Fantasies III. The Art and Elegance of Beadweaving and Coraling Technique remain my favorite beading books.
Review #3: If you can buy only one beading book, This is it! 2006-06-26 I have bought many (around 75) beading books over the past two years. I must say, for me, the Bead Fantasies series (also II and III) is, by far, the very best beading project book. Beautiful, not difficult, projects throughout. Generally, one will find one or two nice projects in a book. This series is definately a winner in my books. The price is very reasonable too. Thanks for a chance to tell beaders about this book.
Review #4: This book didn't have very much in it. 2006-06-26 Some nice examples of jewelry to make, but not as much detail as I expected.
Review #5: Excellent explainations 2006-04-21 The book is well organised and the instructions are very easy to follow. The projects are not extremely time consuming. I preferred the lay-out of Bead Fantasies II to this book but all in all very much worth the price. Only negative factor is trying to find many of the beads (size-wise and type) used in the projects to obtain even a similar result. |
